On the way to the Redwoods

I’ve done the drive from Crescent City to the Trinity Redwoods more times than I can count, so I zipped through this part fairly quickly.  There are a slew of roadside attractions marking entry to Redwood country, and they continue all along the Redwood Highway.  The Oregon Vortex (not featured) is one roadside attraction I have actually stopped at; I found the train ride to be a fun reliving of childhood spirit, and there are some fun usages of the Vortex trickery. I do find it beneficial that the trees can bring money to the region in ways that don’t involve them being cut down….

Below are a few random shots of roadside attractions and spots I briefly stopped along the way.
