PICS: Rise Up Bakery & Full Bloom Farms in Applegate, OR

In the spirit of the nomadic movements soon to begin again… I’ve started to actually organize photos from the past few months, and will now be posting a slew.

The pictures that follow are of the main building at Rise Up Bakery / Full Bloom Farms in Applegate, Oregon (more photos of the rest to follow shortly!). I was fortunate enough to be invited to meet the wonderful folks of this space, and took much inspiration for my own farming/community endeavors.

I did not take pictures of the kitchen or stove where the bread magic happens as… that’s for those who go in person. 😉 I will tell you that the gigantic cast iron stove was built surprisingly well, considering it was done in a couple of weeks by two Spaniards who drank only beer. Never water. It’s 70k worth of pro oven, and the bread that comes out is absolutely delicious.

Enough blather, more visual stimulation.
