Auntie Nani’s remembrances: A princess goes to another world

In Paia to celebrate further the life and passing of Auntie Noni (sp? I don’t know how to spell her name). Folklore (or rather, talk about the town) says she is a Hawaiin princess whose family owned much land out here, even some of what is now national parkland, and some of the more sought after tourist destinations. Sounds like she was amazing woman, and though I was not fortunate enough to meet her before she passed… these multiple days of the celebration of her life are allowing me to get to know her even after her celebrated life.
